Chris Chiarenza is a Long Island investor who reached a milestone few ever achieve—flipping his 1,000th house. His journey, nearly two decades in the making, is built not on privilege but on grit, risk, and faith.
Chris grew up in West Islip and spent his early years working long hours at The Larkfield Manor in East Northport, his father’s catering hall. At 23, after a falling out with his dad, he walked away determined to build a future on his own.
The early years were brutal. He lived in a $20-a-day motel, was evicted from his apartment, and buried under more than $80,000 of debt before eventually declaring bankruptcy. As Chris recalls, “I had nothing but faith that God had more in store for me.”
Everything shifted when he met motivational speaker Brian Tracy, whose message lit a fire in him. Chris discovered he had a natural gift for selling. He became a top used-car salesman at Chevy/Mazda 112 in Medford, saving $7,500 to launch an electric scooter business with his friend Vinny. Within a few years, they sold the company for nearly $2 million.
From there, Chris launched several more successful ventures that he eventually sold before entering real estate full-time in 2009. Dilip Deokule is the President of Budget Estates and works as the head of finance for MrCashBuyer. When it comes to expertise in the administrative sector, Dilip is the go-to person in the company. He has been in the real estate development and new home construction business for over 30 years, so he knows a thing or two (or a hundred!) about the industry. As the finance director, Dilip coordinates purchase and sales contracts, along with title policies and anything finance-related. He also supervises all new construction on site. When he’s not hard at work, Dilip likes to travel to unusual places all over the world and really enjoys fine cuisine. He also likes to stay active by mountain biking, and hiking on weekends or summer evenings.

Pedro Velez
Real Estate Operations, Project Manager, Inspector
Pedro Velez is the Real Estate Operations, Project Manager and Inspector at MrCashBuyer. With over 34 years of real estate experience, Pedro utilizes his extensive knowledge as a licensed real estate broker, residential developer, new home builder, and full-time house flipper. An expert multi-tasker, Pedro is responsible for being the eyes and ears for all rehab projects. Ensuring that the highest quality is maintained in every home rehab, he knows the ins and outs of the renovation business. When it comes managing construction projects, Pedro is firm but fair and gets the job done on time and under budget. When he’s not on the job, Pedro enjoys hanging out with his family and friends. He is also a cigar aficionado. He also makes it a point to work out regularly.

Peter Velez
Chief Acquisitions Officer
Peter Velez began his career a decade ago as a real estate agent on Long Island, eventually transferring over to Acquisitions Manager for MrCashBuyer. Peter oversees acquisitions and asset valuations, while keeping new sellers and buyers informed every step of way leading to smooth transactions. Peter attributes much of his success to extensive training but also his communication skills, and he lays out the entire process in a clear and comprehensive manner to potential sellers and buyers. He genuinely enjoys analyzing properties and figuring out the exact valuation for each house. When he’s not hard at work, Peter enjoys exercising and spending quality time with his wife and family.

Asaf German
General Counsel
Asaf German serves as general counsel for MrCashBuyer. Asaf has over 20 years of experience and is considered is a top New York real estate attorney, who puts special emphasis on the handling residential closings. He attributes his success to his incredible staff, positive mindset, and rewarding relationships with all real estate attorneys. Simply put, Asaf strives to make all transactions as smooth and as enjoyable as possible. During the day Asaf is mostly handling contract signings and closings. When he’s not being the best attorney he can be, he is spending time with his two beautiful children, training at the gym and enjoying life.

Melanie Reynolds
Administrative Operations
Melanie serves as the Office Manager at MrCashBuyer, where she plays a key role in keeping daily operations organized, compliant, and running efficiently. She oversees a broad range of administrative and operational responsibilities, including securing building permits, coordinating and scheduling inspections, and ensuring all properties maintain proper and continuous insurance coverage. Melanie is also responsible for preparing and reviewing closing documents and contracts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and handling property tax payments to ensure nothing is missed throughout the transaction process.
With a strong attention to detail and a highly organized approach, Melanie helps ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance at every stage of each project. She works closely with internal teams, vendors, attorneys, and municipalities to keep timelines on track and operations moving smoothly, allowing deals to close efficiently and without unnecessary delays.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and attending concerts.

Alisa Angela
Executive Assistant
Alisa is the Executive Assistant to Chris, providing day-to-day support that keeps operations organized and moving efficiently. She assists with scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and coordination across internal teams and external partners. Alisa helps manage follow-ups, maintains records, supports transaction workflows, and ensures priorities stay on track so leadership can focus on growth and execution.
Known for her reliability and attention to detail, Alisa plays an important role and she is often the point of connection behind the scenes, helping ensure deadlines are met and operations remain organized.
Outside of work, Alisa enjoys spending time with her family, dining out, going to the beach, and visiting New York City. She is also a dedicated mother to her two children, balancing her professional responsibilities with family life.

Elvin Tolosa
Business Development Manager
Elvin is a the Business Development Manager at MrCashBuyer, bringing over 15 years of sales experience to the team. His background includes real estate, pest control, home inspection, cold calling, appointment setting, customer service, and CRM and client retention. Since joining the company, Elvin has become a key point of contact for new acquisitions.
Elvin works closely with homeowners who are planning to sell, handling daily outreach through calls, emails, and text messages to ensure every inquiry is properly attended to. He focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining strong communication, and building lasting relationships so clients feel supported throughout the entire process. He also schedules property viewings for the team and helps keep opportunities moving forward efficiently, always bringing a positive and professional attitude to his role.

Oneyda Gallardo
Auction Acquisitions Manager
Oneyda oversees all auction acquisitions for the company, playing a critical role in identifying and securing new properties. She manages the daily review of auction schedules, prepares and analyzes bids, conducts property evaluations, researches title status, and executes bids on behalf of the company. Her work requires precision, speed, and deep knowledge of the auction process, ensuring opportunities are thoroughly vetted before capital is committed.
As a licensed real estate broker with many years of industry experience, Oneyda brings strong market insight, risk awareness, and strategic judgment to every auction. She works closely with legal, title, and acquisitions teams to minimize exposure, confirm deal viability, and keep transactions moving efficiently from bid to closing. Her attention to detail and disciplined process help protect the company while uncovering high-value opportunities.
A hardworking and dedicated mother, Oneyda balances a demanding role with professionalism and consistency. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Catherine Ferrara
Construction Operations Assistant
Catherine is the Construction Operations Assistant, supporting Pedro Velez in the management of all construction projects. She plays a key role in coordinating with contractors to ensure they maintain proper licensing, insurance coverage, and compliance before work begins. Catherine handles contractor documentation, contract administration, payment coordination, insurance verification, utilities setup, and all relevant project paperwork, helping keep construction timelines organized and uninterrupted.
Her attention to detail and strong organizational skills help ensure that every contractor and project meets company standards and regulatory requirements. Catherine works closely with construction teams, vendors, and internal staff to keep records accurate, payments processed on time, and projects moving forward efficiently. Her role is essential in maintaining structure and accountability across multiple active job sites.
Outside of work, Catherine is a devoted mother of two boys and a proud grandmother of four. She spends much of her free time with her family and enjoys cooking, often bringing everyone together around the table.
