As an attorney, I was a bit skeptical of these kinds of companies but I called the references and tracked down a few of the folks providing comments on google. The references were great and we went forward. I want to note that all the positive reviews are consistent with our experience. DealHouse, Chris and his team are responsive and fair. They do what they say they are going to do. One person I talked to even sold two houses to Chris. If I had another house that I wanted to sell this way I wouldn't hesitate to work with DealHouse. It is true we might have gotten a little more if we tried to sell it to a regular buyer but the home needs lots of TLC and the process would have been much harder. It was definitely worth working with DealHouse and getting this done quickly for a fair price.

The entire process was excruciatingly painful. Chris and Pete would hardly ever respond to my realtor or myself. Questions never answered without following up via many texts and phone calls. The house was a “flip” which Dealhouse spent the least amount of money possible. I do not believe they use licensed contractors as many of the repairs fell apart or broke within weeks of moving in leaving me to repair myself or pay someone. The third day living here the upstairs bathtub leaked into the downstairs. I had a plumber come who had to rip open the walls only to find out one of the pipes was literally installed backwards. This is one example of many. DO NOT purchase a home from them.
